The Berlin Writers’ Workshop is proud to partner with Lettrétage to present our first workshop reading, featuring fiction, poetry, and essays produced in our classes by members of the Berlin Writers’ Workshop community.

October 18th 2018, Literally Speaking, Buchafen (Schillerkiez)

Door opens at 7:45 pm, reading starts at 8:15 pm
Entrance: €3, *cash bar
Limited seating (admission is on a first-come, first-served basis)

Literally Speaking is a fiction reading series organized and curated by Traci Kim featuring original work by Berlin-based writers and the authors who inspire their stories.

We are switching it up for October’s event and will feature writers AND translators this month! The reading will showcase original fiction by Matt Gammie, Ben Miller, and Riccardo Savini as well as literary translations by Will Firth, Kathleen Heil, and Lucy Jones.

January 27, 2017 Wine & Words at Hallesches Haus

Wine lovers and word fanatics, you are in for a treat!

Join us this Friday for our very first evening of wine, food, readings and live music.

Together with Wine Club Berlin you will be able to ask all the questions you have about the magic grape juice while tasting a range of carefully selected treasures.

On food duties, the Hallesches Haus crew will be curating a selection of little treats for us, that will highlight the flavors of your favorite wine.

Followed by brave readers and their stories, there will be live music with a range of ukulele, violin and live-looping combined with soulful harmonies – what better way is there to start your weekend?
